The Part-Time Building Maintenance Technician performs building operations, customer service, and community enhancement for Building Maintenance Systems Inc (BMSI). This team player will complete or assist with electrical, plumbing, air conditioning, heating, and other trades within commercial buildings.
Key Responsibilities- Building Operations: Perform building and systems inspections, making necessary modifications to building systems.
- Customer Service: Respond to service tickets and provide a safe environment for building tenants and visitors.
- Community Enhancement: Work with the property management team to perform preventive maintenance and complete work orders.
- $28 to $30 per hour depending on experience.
- Uniforms are available at the time of hire.
- 1 - 3 years maintaining equipment and systems in commercial buildings.
- Familiarity and abilities with HVAC equipment, Boilers and Chillers.
- Experience and skills in operating, troubleshooting, maintaining, installing, and repairing equipment.
- Technology skills necessary to manage work order applications on mobile phone and learn to operate Building Automation Systems.
- High School diploma or equivalent, and must be able to communicate effectively in English.
- Must meet the occupation requirements, such as lifting 50 lbs., walking distances, kneeling for 1 hour, and climbing ladders.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check.
- Must possess a Universal CFC certification.
