About the Role

The role of the Campaign Manager, Commerce is responsible for the overall account performance and execution, as well as educating peers and clients on holistic Retail Media campaign activation. The goal is to provide best-in-class expertise and recommendations that drive performance.

The successful candidate will be able to understand high-level client goals and how they translate into eCommerce strategy when applied via online technologies. They will also have a strong working understanding of the eCommerce industry and platforms, including major players and supporting technology.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Partner with Account Managers to provide insights that inform request for proposals (RFPs), decks, proposals, and planning recommendations.
  2. Develop best-in-class deliverables/reporting to clients from available Retail Media platforms and services.
  3. Manage and oversee Retail media search campaigns set up and execution: Campaign Planning, Understanding client goals and how to maximize those measures of success through tactical strategies and technologies.
  4. Creatation and delivery of effective media plan details for integrated paid eCommerce and co-op advertising campaign efforts - in context to wider media efforts.
  5. Partner with team leads in forecasting for media planning to build and maintain best recommendations for performance.
  6. Campaign Set-Up: Developing and implementing appropriate strategic campaign structure to deliver optimal performance in accordance with client's goals and our agency's philosophy.
  7. Establish data-driven keywords harvesting and selection to implement keyword strategy.
  8. Defining bidding strategy for all campaigns and leveraging SaaS tools (ie. SKAI or Pacvue) to set rules for campaign optimization to optimize performance according to client's goals.
  9. Campaign Management: Execute in-platform checks throughout the campaigns' duration, preventing budget under-spend or over-spend.
  10. Monitoring campaigns' performance across defined KPIs.
  11. Allocating and adjusting budgets across campaigns and ad groups to optimize performance and spend efficiently.
  12. Adjusting bids and keywords to maximize ROI within the budget.
  13. Campaign Analysis & Reporting: Analyzing campaign performance data to derive insights and identify areas for improvement.
  14. Creating regular reports to communicate campaign performance to stakeholders, including key metrics, insights, and recommendations for optimization (Bi-Weekly or Monthly).
  15. Leverage all available performance Retail Media data sets available at disposable to enhance reporting and recommendations.
  16. Educate agency teams and clients on best practices and campaign objective requirements.
  17. Monitor the goals and key performance indicators (KPI's) for a portfolio of clients to ensure on-time and complete delivery of campaigns.
  18. Create strong collaborative relationships with the planning teams and specialty business units (SBUs).
  19. Mentor and train Campaign Managers and Associates on tools and processes.
  20. Partner with Account Managers to source proposals from media partners and liaise with Specialty Business Units (SBUs) as required.
