Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include acting as a liaison to hospital staff and the outside community, maintaining designated targets for chart compliance and report turnaround times, conducting and disseminating research in your field of expertise, and providing psychological clinical services to patients and their families.

You will also be responsible for promoting family adjustment to life-altering medical conditions and addressing issues such as emotional or behavioral problems related to new or chronic illness, improving adherence to medical regimens, managing pain or other physical symptoms, and difficulty sleeping.
