Pharmacy Technician

As a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and customer service. You will assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including filling prescriptions, processing transactions, and maintaining accurate records.

• Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications
• Process prescriptions and maintain accurate records
• Provide exceptional customer service and respond to customer inquiries
• Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of pharmaceuticals
• Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain certification and stay up-to-date on industry developments

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Pharmacy Technician certification or registration required
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
• Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and credit transactions

• Previous experience in a retail or healthcare environment
• PTCB certification
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of pharmacy software
