Job Overview

A prominent manufacturing company is seeking skilled assemblers for both 1st and 2nd shifts. The primary responsibility of the Assembler is to construct and evaluate new and evolving product lines by adhering to engineering schematics and directives from the Assembly Manager and other Engineering Department staff, utilizing a variety of tools and fixtures.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble products using manual skills and basic tools efficiently.
  • Conduct product testing according to established safety and operational guidelines.
  • Utilize digital systems effectively for all assembly-related tasks.
  • Maintain precise records of assembled items.
  • Log assembly activities in the digital system accurately.

Qualifications:Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Technical school experience beyond high school is preferred (certification or degree).

Mathematical Skills:
  • Proficient in basic math skills including counting, measuring, and using a calculator.

Reasoning Abilities:
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Perform tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Execute additional assignments as directed by management.
  • Work efficiently and safely in a production setting.
  • Contribute innovative ideas for production optimization.
  • Follow detailed written and verbal instructions accurately.
  • Understand basic engineering principles and measurement units (pressure, length, flow rate, etc.).

Physical Requirements:
  • Regularly use hands and arms for reaching, lifting, and holding.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds frequently and occasionally up to 25 pounds.

Work Environment:
  • Work may involve proximity to moving mechanical components and exposure to vibrations.
  • Operate in a laboratory setting with engineering equipment that requires careful handling.
  • Moderate noise levels are typical.
