About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist - PRN to join our team at LifeBridge Health. As an Occupational Therapist - PRN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients to determine treatment needs and develop personalized treatment plans to relieve pain and restore or improve function.
- Administer patient treatments in accordance with physician referral and provide professional care in accordance with AOTA standards and Maryland State Board of Examiners scope of practice.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to provide evidence-based care.
Requirements:
- Basic professional knowledge equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field.
- Working knowledge of theory and practice within a specialized field, including occupational therapy principles and practices.
- Less than 1 year of experience in occupational therapy or a related field.
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Maryland.
- American Heart Association CPR Certification.
