As an Operating Room Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering clinical expertise to ensure that all patients receive high-quality care in a surgical setting. Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients undergoing surgery.
- Assist surgeons during operative procedures.
- Maintain and update patient records, including test results and examinations.
- Administer medications as per physician directives.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid Florida Registered Nurse license or appropriate compact licensure, with an active FL RN license required within 60 days of hire if holding a compact license.
- Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
- Previous experience in an acute care environment is highly desirable.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is mandatory.
- Strong critical thinking, service excellence, and effective communication skills are essential.
