Network Architect

The role of a Network Engineer at Leiszler Oil involves designing and implementing computer and information networks, including local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), intranets, extranets, and other data communications networks.

Key responsibilities include network modeling, analysis, and planning, as well as designing network and computer security measures. The successful candidate will also research and recommend network and data communications hardware and software.

Additionally, the Network Engineer will establish a networking environment by designing system configuration, directing system installation, and defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards.

They will also maximize network performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems and outages, and collaborating with network architects on network optimization.

Experience in VMware Virtual Environments, creating, deploying, and maintaining networks is essential.

The Network Engineer will secure the network system by establishing and enforcing policies, defining and monitoring access, and maintaining personal networks.

They will also report network operational status by gathering, prioritizing information, and managing projects.

Finally, the Network Engineer will introduce and integrate new technologies into existing data center environments and perform routine audits of systems and software.

Key qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Sciences, Computer Systems Analysis, or Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications, as well as experience with VMware, Virtual Infrastructures, and tracking budget expenses.
