Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our team at Russell Tobin. As a key member of our healthcare support staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and prepare patients for medical procedures, maintaining a high level of professionalism and courtesy.
  • Accurately complete patient intake into our electronic health record system, ensuring all necessary information is collected and documented.
  • Maintain exam rooms, including cleaning and restocking supplies, to ensure a clean and safe environment for patients.
  • Handle patient prescriptions and pre-authorizations for diagnostic testing and procedures, working closely with our medical team to ensure timely and accurate processing.
  • Perform other duties typical of a physician practice, including administrative tasks and patient communication.

Requirements:

  • Medical Assistant certification through AAMA, NCCT, AMT, or NHA is preferred.
  • Prior office experience is required, with a minimum of one year of experience in a medical setting.
  • Epic experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Pain Management experience is a plus, but not necessary.

Education:

A High School Diploma is required for this position.
