We are seeking a highly skilled Professional Engineer to perform Special Inspections for pile installations. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and safety of foundation systems.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct special inspections for pile installations, including driven piles, drilled shafts, helical piles, and other foundation systems by relevant codes, standards, and project specifications.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports, documenting observations, test results, and any deviations from design specifications.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to coordinate inspection activities, address issues, and provide technical guidance on pile installation processes.
- Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with approved plans, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide expert advice on pile design, installation techniques, and testing methods.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the state of NY required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil or structural engineering, with a focus on pile installations and special inspections.
