Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team at Bayhealth. As a key member of our Cath Lab team, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, as well as assisting physicians in placing catheters into coronary arteries and peripheral vessels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in preparing patients for procedures and setting up rooms for safe and efficient delivery of care.
  • Obtain hemostasis safely after procedures and utilize x-ray equipment accurately and independently.
  • Monitor and document all procedures performed in the Cath Lab in the MacLab system.
  • Assist with procedure room turnover after every procedure following Infection Control protocol.
  • Enhance professional growth and development through participation in education, workshops, and current literature.
Requirements
  • Associate Degree in Radiologic Sciences or Cardiovascular Technology.
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Two years' experience in the Cardiac Cath Lab performing cardiac diagnostic, interventional, and electrophysiological procedures.
  • Previous electrophysiology lab or interventional lab experience.
