Position Summary

Key Responsibilities

CORE FUNCTIONS Responds promptly and courteously to inquiries from both internal and external stakeholders, representing the organization positively.

Works independently or as part of a team on maintenance tasks related to the institution's grounds.

Conducts landscape maintenance activities, including mowing, trimming, edging, and planting.

Engages in tree and shrub care activities, such as pruning, shaping, and branch removal.

Utilizes various powered and manual tools and equipment, including saws, sprayers, air compressors, mowers, blowers, and trimmers.


Assists with general maintenance and repair tasks as required.

Maintains cleanliness and safety of the grounds; promptly addresses safety issues and reports any maintenance needs.

Ensures proper upkeep of tools and equipment used; adheres to safety practices in the operation of tools and machinery.


Conducts cleanup and restoration activities post-project, including waste disposal.

Responds effectively to emergencies or critical incidents to mitigate hazardous situations.


Remains updated on current technologies relevant to the position, participating in training as necessary to maintain required skill levels.

Responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of information related to job duties.
