Position Summary:

The Product Merchandising Coordinator serves as the product authority and advocate for a designated product line at Chadwell Supply, managing all merchandising efforts within the HVAC sector. This role collaborates closely with Marketing, Purchasing, Renovations, and Sales teams to ensure accurate product representation and effective promotion, enabling customers to make informed purchasing decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for assigned business lines.
  • Drive incremental sales and profitability through strategic marketing initiatives and pricing tactics.
  • Facilitate the introduction of new products to field sales and online clientele.
  • Analyze sales data to identify opportunities for growth and profitability enhancement.
  • Engage with suppliers to introduce new products, manage promotional activities, reduce excess inventory, and assist in product liquidation.
  • Collaborate with the Pricing Analyst to establish competitive pricing that benefits both the market and profitability.
  • Understand customer demographics and their purchasing motivations.
  • Evaluate customer feedback to forecast sales trends and seasonal inventory needs.
  • Research and track industry trends and consumer behavior to predict demand and shifts in buying patterns.
  • Assess the effectiveness of various product displays, catalog placements, promotional materials, digital platforms, and incentives.
  • Work alongside the Pricing Analyst to review competitor offerings and explore opportunities for new product introductions.
