About the Role

This full-time nursing position involves assessing and diagnosing patients in a practice setting, identifying outcomes, implementing treatment plans, and coordinating care.

  • Responsibilities include performing and assisting with oncology and infusion-related treatments, therapies, and procedures.
  • You will assess patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans, ensuring high-quality care throughout their journey.
  • We are looking for a professional who can provide education and counseling to patients and families about health needs, healthcare activities, immunization requirements, medication effects, and contraindications.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • Graduate-level education from an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred)
  • Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina (or temporary license as a Registered Nurse Petitioner)
  • Oncology experience and proficiency in IV therapy, bone marrow procedures, spinals, thoracenteses, paracenteses, and phlebotomy are highly desirable
  • BLS certification is required per policy guidelines
