Job Overview

Global Information Technology is a leading provider of IT training and consulting services, established in 1999.


As a respected institution in the industry, we are committed to equipping students with the necessary skills and attitudes to secure employment in their field of training. We currently have an urgent need for a Senior Java Instructor to teach our students on weeknights/weekends, Saturday only. This opportunity is open to GC and US Citizens.


Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver comprehensive Java training programs via physical and remote classroom environments.
  • Conduct technical instruction using adult learning practices and procedures to engage learners and ensure content is relevant to the targeted audience.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in Java/J2EE application development.
  • Familiarity with Agile Development methodologies and software engineering principles.
  • Deep knowledge of JavaScript frameworks, such as AngularJS.
  • Certifications in relevant areas are highly valued.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with students.
  • Strong verbal and written skills, with proficiency in adult learning principles and practices.
  • Learner-focused service orientation and commitment to quality in all aspects related to content delivery.
  • Ability to multitask effectively and possess excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • A Bachelor's degree and teaching experience are considered assets.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately $85,000, based on industry standards and location considerations. Additional benefits include opportunities for professional growth and development within a rapidly expanding organization.
