i4 Search Group is seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our oncology team in Southwest, Colorado. As a member of our team, you will work closely with patients to plan and execute radiotherapy treatments.

Salary and Benefits

Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Immobilizing and simulating treatment fields provided by treatment planning and radiation oncologist instructions.
  • Performing radiation treatments to patients according to prescription and instruction from the radiation oncologist.
  • Preparing the room and educating patients.
  • Reviewing and maintaining patient charts and keeping accurate records.
  • Maintaining continuing education requirements.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Training in an AMA-approved school of radiation therapy.
  • Radiologic technologist certification by the American Registry within an acceptable timeframe.
  • Experience working as a radiation therapist (a plus).
  • Proficiency in medical imaging equipment.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • The ability to empathize with patients while remaining professional.
