Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Cardiac Catheterization Technician to join our team at Brookwood Baptist Medical Center. As a key member of our cardiovascular care team, you will be responsible for assisting physicians and staff with clinical and technical aspects of cardiovascular care.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized plans of care for procedures being performed.
  • Provide teaching and guidance to patients, families, and staff members.
  • Execute x-rays for desired views and prioritize patient care based on needs and resources available.
  • Set up and monitor IABP and assist with insertion and care of temporary and permanent pacemakers.
Requirements
  • BS in Radiology or equivalent.
  • Basic EKG course.
  • 6 months of experience in Cath Lab/Cardiac Intervention Lab.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications within 6 months of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1 year of experience providing Cardiac Cath, radiology care.
  • RCIS certification.
