Job Summary

The Sales Associate is a key member of our store team, responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience and driving sales growth. As a Sales Associate, you will be the face of Forever 21, providing personalized service, product knowledge, and a welcoming environment for our customers.

Responsibilities
  • Create a welcoming environment for customers, responding promptly to their needs and inquiries.
  • Proactively seek opportunities to deliver a great customer experience, using basic selling techniques to engage with customers.
  • Assist in the location, availability, and selection of merchandise, introducing current sales, promotions, and brand initiatives to gain customer loyalty.
  • Process sales transactions, maintain proper accountability at registers, and complete merchandise returns and exchanges courteously and under company guidelines.
  • Speak positively about the brand, customers, and team members, demonstrating initiative, teamwork, and ownership in every interaction.
  • Maintain visual standards for the selling floor, fitting rooms, visual displays, and presentations, and assist in daily store recovery.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and loss prevention practices, sharing feedback and ideas with management to improve store processes.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 16 years of age.
  • Minimum of one year of retail sales experience and previous cash handling experience is preferred.
  • Must be energetic and charismatic, with strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to act with integrity and business maturity to ensure interactions are conducted without bias or prejudice.
  • Must be able to complete sales transactions in the POS register system.
  • Must be available to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
