We are seeking a highly skilled Primary Care Physician to join our team in Columbus, Georgia.
Job SummaryThis is an excellent opportunity for a motivated physician to work with a multi-specialty healthcare facility and provide high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Define Standards of Care: Collaborate with the Medical Director to establish standards of general practice and patient care, ensuring coordination among nursing, laboratory, pharmacy, and other supporting staff as needed.
- Provide Patient Education: Advise patients on good health practices and complete health evaluation forms.
- Supervise Support Staff: Provide supervision to PAs, RNs, LPNs, and contribute to their evaluation of work performance.
- Participate in Peer Review: Attend conferences and seminars to meet CME requirements, stay up-to-date with current updates in Internal Medicine, and participate in peer review meetings.
- Ensure Comprehensive Care: Establish a database and problem list, conduct physical examinations, and follow well-care parameters, nutrition, development, and growth guidelines.
- Active State License: Must have an active state license to practice medicine.
- Board Certification: Must be board-certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
- Clinic Locations: Preferably open to working with 2-3 clinic locations in Fortson, Columbus, and Tabotton, GA.
- Competitive Salary: $179,200 per year (commensurate with experience).
- Flexible Schedule: Full-time or part-time position (at least 2-3 days a week).
