About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Turnover Lead to join our team at Kent Plc. As a key member of our Mechanical Completion and Commissioning team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe execution of Mechanical Completion (MC) and turnover activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with Construction Contractors to ensure timely and orderly completion of MC and turnover activities.
  • Engage with Contractors to arrange MC walkdowns and punchlist development, ensuring that all issues are addressed and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Review and approve Contractor procedures for Mechanical Completion dossiers and turnover activities.
  • Liaise with Contractors to facilitate the transition from area construction to system MC turnover, ensuring that all activities are completed in accordance with project schedules and handover dates.
  • Interface with Planning and Construction teams to ensure that MC dates are met and that all necessary documentation is completed and submitted in a timely manner.
  • Provide key interface with Commissioning Leads to ensure that commissioning check sheets are accurately completed and submitted in a timely manner to the TO/HO Support team.
  • Verify all sign-offs of TCP documentation, check sheets, punch lists, as-builts, etc., to facilitate handover to Operations.
  • Monitor the development, population, and maintenance of the CMS database, ensuring that it is up to date and includes current and correct data from Engineering.
  • Support the SC database administrator with database updates and changes via the change control procedure.
  • Interface with Engineering to ensure that engineering data is updated in accordance with revision updates of key documents, such as cable schedules, instrument index, line list, etc.
  • Provide MC and commissioning progress updates to the Commissioning Superintendent.
Requirements
  • College/University degree and/or technical diploma and 10+ years of systems completions experience.
  • Previous successful leadership experience working in Mechanical Completion and Commissioning environments.
  • Extensive knowledge of electronic Systems Completions database management systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of Project Completion standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria, as well as facilities commissioning and Start-Up operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop successful working relationships and become a team player.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite of software programs.
  • Read, write, and speak fluent English, especially as required to function effectively within a project team and to communicate with project management, contractors, and sub-contractors.
  • Ability to inspire, motivate, and guide team members towards achieving common goals and objectives.
  • Skilled in identifying, addressing, and resolving conflicts or disagreements within the team in a fair and constructive manner.
