Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse-PRN
About the Company: Good Landing Recovery is a collection of substance abuse treatment facilities that provide a continuum of care.
Salary Range: $28-$32 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
Job Description: We are seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work with clients, identifying health issues related to drug and alcohol abuse. The LPN will provide direct care to clients and assist the shift RN in following treatment plans, maintaining client well-being, and comfort.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and report changes to patient symptoms or behavior
- Administer and monitor client vitals
- Communicate changes to client health status or behavior to RN on staff
- Assist with preparing clients for transfer or discharge
- Maintain accurate documentation of client medical records
- Administer medications to clients as prescribed
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare facilities as needed
- Perform any and all other duties requested by the Director of Nursing or RN on shift
- Adhere to HIPAA, Federal, and State guidelines
Requirements:
- Current Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse licensure (GA)
- Valid driver's license
- Experience in Healthcare/Behavioral Health is highly preferred
- Comfortable working in a time-sensitive, confidential environment where there are continually changing priorities
- Ability to meet deadlines and work professionally
- Ability to maintain a strict level of confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA laws regarding healthcare treatment
