As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to patients in Labor and Delivery, including antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care for mothers, as well as level 1 and level 2 care for newborns.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians, and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and document findings in the medical record.
- Participate in emergency situations such as codes blue and trauma cases, and respond to emergencies as needed.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, including progress notes, medication administration records, and other relevant documentation.
- Three years' experience in Labor and Delivery, with a focus on antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care for mothers, as well as level 1 and level 2 care for newborns.
- Current New Mexico or Multi-State Licensure required.
- Proficiency with Meditech or comparable EMR documentation, preferred.
- Guaranteed Hours to ensure a stable and predictable schedule.
