Exterminator Professional

We are seeking a detail-oriented exterminator professional to join our team at Preventive Pest Control. This is a full-time position that requires strong customer service skills, an ability to work independently, and a willingness to obtain a pest control license.

This exterminator will identify potential infestations, decide on the best course of treatment, and safely administer treatments to eliminate pests and prevent future infestations. The ideal candidate has excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.

• Respond to customer inquiries regarding pest management services
• Comply with all safety guidelines by wearing protective equipment and following instructions for each pest control product
• Record work activities and complete all paperwork after finishing services
• Determine the most efficient method to eliminate an infestation using pesticide use, blockages, mechanical traps, or other methods
• Investigate locations for warning signs of unwanted pests, such as rodents, vermin, bed bugs, or termites
• Schedule appointments with customers by working with in-office employees

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Comfortable working in outdoor environments with varying weather conditions
• Current U.S. driver's license and clean driving record
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to obtain a pest control license
• Capable of lifting up to 100 lbs, climbing stairs, accessing and exiting roof or attic areas using a ladder, and going into crawl spaces

The estimated salary for this position is $42,000 - $62,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
