We are seeking a highly skilled Veterinary Nurse I, II, or III to join our dedicated Small Animal Internal Medicine team at the Veterinary Health Center within the College of Veterinary Medicine at Kansas State University.
This is a limited term position that requires the successful candidate to assist in the performing of technical work, provide support in the treatment of patients, and maintain patient care areas, including regular sanitization and organization.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor patient care and compile medical records
- Assist veterinary students in learning new tasks
- Work collaboratively with the team to provide exceptional patient care
The Veterinary Health Center is a teaching hospital that offers routine, emergency, and specialty care services. We strive to provide exceptional care for patients from high-quality routine healthcare to state-of-the-art advanced therapy for seriously ill patients.

Requirements- Completion of a two-year college program in veterinary or animal technology accredited by the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA)
- Relevant experience as a veterinary technician (RVT, LVT, CVT) after passing the Veterinary Technician National Exam
- Ability to work in a high intensity environment and prioritize daily tasks
