About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Worker to join our team at Nuvance Health. As a Mental Health Worker, you will play a vital role in providing direct and indirect patient care under the direction of an RN or physician.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, including personal care, emotional support, and more complex clinical skills under the direction of an RN.
  • Provide care that meets the psychosocial and physical needs of patients within your scope of practice.
  • Assist with patient admissions, discharge, and transfers.
  • Perform patient care responsibilities considering the needs specific to the standard of care for patients of all ages.
  • Provide patient care that meets the standard of care for patients of all ages, including pediatric, geriatric, and general patient populations.
Requirements
  • High school graduate.
  • Preferred past experience as a nurse's aide.
  • BLS Certification within 90 days of hire.
  • CPI Certification within 30 days of hire.
  • CT, MA, or NY CNA Certification preferred.
