The Boeing Company is currently looking for a Junior Electrical Technician to become part of our dynamic team. In this position, you will be integral to our production and maintenance operations, providing essential support across various functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute electrical modifications on and off aircraft, focusing on wiring and system components.
  • Conduct intricate connector terminations, including shielded wires, coaxial cables, and fiber optic wiring.
  • Implement sealing, wrapping, bonding, tying, and closure of wire harnesses and cables according to established protocols.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, technical orders, process specifications, and retrofit requirements to carry out electrical modifications and repairs.
  • Oversee assembly, installation, and visual inspection of physical characteristics, as well as modifications of wire bundles and electrical assemblies, ensuring operational and quality checks are met.
  • Troubleshoot electrical and environmental system malfunctions of moderate complexity at the organizational or depot maintenance level.
  • Perform operational testing and troubleshooting on aircraft in compliance with various directives.
  • Engage in assembly, installation, and testing of wire bundles in the development and modification of aircraft.
  • Fulfill all responsibilities of lower electrical classifications as necessary to complete tasks.
  • Analyze standard work instructions, charts, tables, blueprints, wire diagrams, and verbal or electronic orders to execute assigned work.
  • Diagnose and rectify malfunctions in assembly processes.
  • Utilize precision measuring instruments and tools to verify dimensions and adherence to quality standards.
  • Maintain required certifications, licenses, and permits for assigned tasks.
  • Ascend and descend ladders, work in confined spaces, and lift loads of approximately 35 pounds.
  • Apply Hazardous Energy and Lock Out/Tag systems to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with team members (General Mechanics, Structures, Avionics) to meet scheduled objectives.

Work Environment: This position is expected to be fully onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work at the designated location. Occasional travel may be necessary.

Security Clearance: This role requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance, necessitating U.S. Citizenship.

Special Access Requirements: Access to specific programs or government requirements is mandatory for this position.

Training Assessment: Candidates must pass assessments during the training phase.

Compliance: Adherence to tool and Foreign Object Damage (FOD) procedures is required.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of relevant experience in the outlined duties.
  • 4+ years of experience with electrical/electronic theories and systems.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Depot Level/Modification maintenance.
  • Proficiency in operating forklifts, mobile cranes, and electric-powered elevating equipment.

Typical Experience/Education: Generally, 4 or more years of related work experience or relevant military experience, along with a combination of High School Diploma or GED education.

Shift Information: This position operates on a rotating shift schedule.

Additional Pay:
