Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled HVAC/R Technician to join our team at Jackson National Life. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of our corporate buildings, data centers, and child development center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain air handling units, boilers, heat pumps, fans, VAV boxes, pumps, Computer Room Air Conditioner, dry coolers, cooling towers, refrigerators, walk-in coolers and freezers, commercial kitchen appliances, ice makers, gas humidifiers, sheet metal/duct work, and all other premise HVAC equipment.
  • Maintain records of all equipment service and preventative maintenance utilizing a computerized work order system.
  • Direct contractors and monitor work as needed for HVAC repairs and maintenance.
  • Supervise and support fire protection and other vendors during inspections.
  • Attend classes or seminars as necessary to become certified in areas that management deems appropriate for job duties.
  • Wear company-issued uniforms and personal protective equipment.
  • Be available 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, for service emergencies and on-call responsibilities on a rotating basis.
  • Operate and maintain building automation systems and alarm systems.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of experience in HVAC/R maintenance and repair required.
  • 1+ years of experience working with building automation systems and direct digital controls required.
  • Universal Refrigeration Certified preferred, but Type I and II is required.
