**Job Description**

The Property Care Worker will perform routine maintenance tasks and services, including grounds keeping of Tribal Government properties, facilities, Tribal Housing, and rental properties.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Perform various tasks, including carpentry, painting, and electrical work, using power and hand tools.
  2. Clean and maintain Tribal property grounds, including mowing, weed whacking, and applying insecticides and weed sprays.
  3. Conduct regular inspections of mechanical equipment, including pumps, compressors, and generators.
  4. Provide information to management regarding maintenance schedules and priorities.
  5. Work collaboratively with the Facilities Maintenance team to ensure the proper upkeep of Tribal properties.
  6. Assist with moving furniture and equipment, and assist with cutting, splitting, stacking, and distributing firewood.
  7. Maintain professional communication with Tribal members and employees.

Requirements:

  • Must meet the minimum age requirement for driving Tribal Government vehicles.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Two years' experience in maintenance, construction, or related field required.
  • Must be able to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication skills required.
  • Pre-employment drug testing and background check required.
  • Employment eligibility in the U.S. required.
