Facilities Maintenance Specialist

**Job Description**
The Property Care Worker will perform routine maintenance tasks and services, including grounds keeping of Tribal Government properties, facilities, Tribal Housing, and rental properties.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform various tasks, including carpentry, painting, and electrical work, using power and hand tools.
- Clean and maintain Tribal property grounds, including mowing, weed whacking, and applying insecticides and weed sprays.
- Conduct regular inspections of mechanical equipment, including pumps, compressors, and generators.
- Provide information to management regarding maintenance schedules and priorities.
- Work collaboratively with the Facilities Maintenance team to ensure the proper upkeep of Tribal properties.
- Assist with moving furniture and equipment, and assist with cutting, splitting, stacking, and distributing firewood.
- Maintain professional communication with Tribal members and employees.
Requirements:
- Must meet the minimum age requirement for driving Tribal Government vehicles.
- Valid driver's license required.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Two years' experience in maintenance, construction, or related field required.
- Must be able to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills required.
- Pre-employment drug testing and background check required.
- Employment eligibility in the U.S. required.
