Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Inspector I - Production Support to join our team at Medtronic. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Test Products: Use predetermined methods and operations to inspect visually in-process and completed products, including electronic units and subsystems, precision electromechanical assemblies, and mechanical units.
  • Verify Quality Standards: Work from blueprints, diagrams, dial indicators, preset micrometers, scales, fixtures, customer specifications, drawing or inspection instructions, and checklists to ensure products meet quality standards.
  • Monitor and Report Defects: Accept, reject, or rework defective or malfunctioning units or systems, and report any issues to the production team.
  • Support Production Operations: Provide support in manufacturing operations and/or distribution centers, including assembly, machinery, processing, packaging, and/or distribution of company products.
  • Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with production team members to ensure smooth production operations and resolve any issues that may arise.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; 0 years of experience in a production or quality control environment.
  • Skills and Abilities: Strong attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and excellent communication skills.
