About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Operations Engineer to join our team at MITRE. As a Cyber Operations Engineer, you will play a critical role in creating and implementing innovative solutions to complex cybersecurity challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop defensive and offensive cyber operations in cyberspace
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify and mitigate cyber threats
  • Develop and implement prototypes and proofs of concept for cyber operations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cyber operations into larger systems
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in cybersecurity
Requirements
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline
  • Expertise in reverse engineering techniques for embedded systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to articulate complex topics to stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in tactics and techniques to perform cyber-related forensics of devices and networks
  • Foundation in advancing cyber operations capabilities
  • Experience in novel approaches to manipulate new technologies
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment
