Summary
The role of the Clinical Coordinator is fundamentally focused on orchestrating clinical education and assessing its effectiveness, aligning clinical education with theoretical instruction, and collaborating with clinical sites to place students and oversee their development.
This position assists the program director in ensuring the smooth operation of the program; oversees the clinical segment of the curriculum; guarantees that students receive comprehensive exposure to all facets of the clinical sites, thereby ensuring the attainment of course learning outcomes.
Additionally, the Clinical Coordinator aids the program director in fulfilling compliance certification requirements and provides ongoing management for the development, execution, and evaluation of the program's continuous quality effectiveness and accreditation standards.
Establishes and nurtures relationships with educational and community partners.
Reports to the Director of Radiologic Technology.
Skills/Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree.
(ARRT) American Registry of Radiologic Technologist certification.
A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
At least 1 year of experience as an instructor in a JRCERT accredited program.
CPR certification and an unrestricted state license in Maryland.
