Fiber Optic Specialist

Resource Logistics is seeking a highly skilled Fiber Optic Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our data center installation team, you will be responsible for installing and terminating fiber optic cables, as well as performing testing and troubleshooting tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and terminate fiber optic cables
  • Perform testing and troubleshooting tasks
  • Work at heights, off a ladder, and in confined spaces
  • Lift up to 50 pounds and move up to 75 pounds
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Proficient in terminating all connector types and methods for SMF and MMF systems
  • Experience with testing and troubleshooting MMF and SMF systems
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of experience in fiber optics
  • Industry certifications (Corning/FOA/BICSI)
  • Data center installation experience
