Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join our team at Wilson Health, a small local community hospital offering award-winning care close to home.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Initiate and perform accurate triage and ongoing assessment of physical and psychosocial problems of patients within the Emergency Department, catering to diverse age groups including neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, young-middle-aged adults, and geriatrics.
  • Register patients efficiently by collecting necessary demographic information, when required.
  • Prepare identification bracelets and ensure timely placement on Emergency patients.
  • Develop comprehensive nursing plans for Emergency Department patients and collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver effective patient care.
  • Implement evidence-based care strategies and assist patients and their significant others in preventing illnesses and injuries.
  • Maintain open communication with patients, their families, and healthcare colleagues to facilitate seamless therapeutic interventions.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • A minimum of an Associate degree in Nursing or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.
  • An active R.N. license in the State of Ohio.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Must obtain ACLS certification within one year of employment; PALS and TNCC certifications should be acquired within two years.

Compensation

We offer a competitive salary range, estimated to be approximately $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience, in addition to other benefits and perks listed above.
