WITRON Service America is seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team. As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining a state-of-the-art automated material handling system in a fast-paced distribution center.
You will enhance system performance and minimize downtime through effective maintenance activities, engage in electrical and mechanical tasks with minimal supervision, and assist the production team with basic fault correction, coaching, and troubleshooting.
We are looking for a dedicated professional who prioritizes safety, thrives on maximizing system performance, and excels in both electrical and mechanical tasks. You will drive continuous improvement activities through comprehensive system knowledge and site-specific enhancements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Approach all tasks and situations with a safety-first mindset
- Enhance system performance and minimize downtime
- Engage in a wide range of electrical and mechanical tasks
- Assist the production team with basic fault correction and troubleshooting
- Drive continuous improvement activities
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in electrical and mechanical systems, experience with control technology, and proficiency with computer systems. A minimum of one to two years of experience in a relevant role is required, and five years plus is preferred.
