Position Overview

RUSH Kids Pediatric Therapy is in search of a Part-Time Pediatric Speech Therapist.

Join our vibrant and collaborative multidisciplinary team dedicated to providing exceptional care for pediatric patients. Our practice addresses a range of conditions including developmental delays, cerebral palsy, genetic disorders, autism spectrum disorders, sensory processing issues, feeding challenges, and various speech and language impairments.

This role offers comprehensive mentorship in pediatric speech therapy, covering areas such as feeding therapy and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). We welcome new graduates who are looking to fulfill their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).

Work Schedule: Part-Time

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess assigned patients and formulate suitable treatment objectives and programs.
  • Continuously evaluate the patient's progress and adjust goals as necessary.
  • Create detailed treatment plans aimed at optimizing patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other clinical and therapeutic services to coordinate treatment.
  • Participate in relevant clinical meetings to enhance coordination.
  • Deliver high-quality patient care while fostering positive interactions with facilities and clients.
Qualifications
  • Must meet the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) minimum standards for initiating the Clinical Fellowship Year, including at least 36 credit hours in relevant coursework.
  • Possess state licensure/registration as required; ASHA certification is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 300 hours in a prescribed clinical practicum experience is required.
