We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at Grace Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care, collaborate with physicians and other disciplines, and maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and prioritize patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, including medication administration, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.
- Provide education and support to patients and families, promoting health literacy and self-management skills.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, adhering to regulatory requirements and hospital policies.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current RN licensure in Maryland or Compact State.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Emergency Services or acute care.
- BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS certifications within 6 months of hire.
- Certification in Emergency Nursing preferred.
