We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist II to join our team at Franciscan Health Munster Campus. As a key member of our surgical team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring a safe and efficient surgical environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the surgical environment, including the setup and breakdown of equipment and supplies.
- Transport patients and assist with specimen handling and disposal.
- Participate in the surgical site and patient verification process to ensure accuracy and safety.
- Prepare and maintain surgical instruments and equipment, and assist with the sterilization process.
- Provide a safe and supportive environment for patients and staff, and respond to life-threatening situations as needed.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 1 year of operating room experience required.
- Basic Life Support Program (BLS) certification required within 90 days.
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification required.
