Genesis Aspire Partners seeks a highly skilled Senior Property Tax Analyst to join our team. This is a critical role that requires expertise in property tax analysis, research, and financial planning.

Job Description:

We are looking for a seasoned professional with a strong background in property tax laws, regulations, and assessment practices. The ideal candidate will have experience in evaluating property assessments, researching tax laws, and providing financial analysis to support property tax planning.

  • Evaluate and analyze property assessments and tax liabilities to minimize the organization's tax liabilities.
  • Research tax laws, statutes, and regulations to ensure compliance and identify opportunities for tax savings.
  • Prepare and review property tax returns and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather financial and property data for tax reporting.
  • Assess and mitigate property tax risks and identify tax-saving opportunities through in-depth research and analysis.
  • Communicate effectively with taxing authorities and external tax advisors regarding tax matters.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships with stakeholders. Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and proficiency in financial software applications are also essential.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in property tax analysis or related tax field.
  • Strong understanding of property tax laws, regulations, and assessment practices.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis and modeling techniques.
  • Excellent knowledge of tax reporting requirements and compliance standards.
  • Ability to conduct in-depth research and analysis of tax-related issues.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and financial software applications.

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, based on experience, as well as an excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, vision insurance, retirement planning, and employer-paid short/long term disability.
