Position Overview

Full Stack Software Engineer

Security Clearance Requirements:

This role mandates that all applicants be U.S. Citizens and hold an active TS/SCI Security Clearance with a Polygraph.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate within a team of four developers to enhance an enterprise-level Corporate Management Information System aimed at streamlining services to minimize the Unliquidated Obligation (ULO) cycle-time and boost operational efficiencies.
  • Develop, code, and maintain the application while implementing new features.
  • Resolve user inquiries, rectify bugs, and optimize system performance.
  • Participate in a small, agile development team operating on a monthly sprint cycle, including quarterly system upgrades.
  • Adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
  • Utilize a technology stack that encompasses Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Docker.
  • Oversee and update Docker containers to facilitate efficient application deployment and scaling, enhancing the development workflow.
  • Engage in Agile practices, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and adapting to evolving requirements in a collaborative and iterative development setting.

Qualifications

Required Education & Experience

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field from an accredited institution.
    • Four (4) years of additional software development experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
  • A minimum of six (6) years of experience in software development/engineering in projects of similar scope and complexity.

Required Skills

  • At least six (6) years of experience in software development/engineering in relevant programs and contracts.
  • Proficiency with JavaScript frameworks (Angular, Vue, React).
  • Experience in Full Stack Development.
  • A willingness to learn and adapt to modern technologies.
  • Basic understanding of SQL and/or NoSQL databases.

Desired Skills

  • Experience in an Agile Development environment.
  • Familiarity with managing the complete software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of Java programming.
  • Experience with PrimeNG UI and TypeForm API.
  • Experience managing systems in a virtual hosting environment, including AWS.
  • Familiarity with PostgreSQL.
  • Experience utilizing Docker for containerization.
