We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Surgical Technician to join our dynamic healthcare team at Jobot. As a key member of our operating room team, you will play a pivotal role in providing superior healthcare services by ensuring efficiency and safety in our operating rooms.
Key Responsibilities- Pre-Operative Preparation: Arrange and inventory sterile set-up for operation and pass items as needed to the surgical team.
- Asepsis and Sterile Field Maintenance: Understand and apply the principles of asepsis. Establish and maintain a sterile field and ensure the team maintains a sterile environment.
- Patient Care and Support: Assist in the preparation and moving of patients. Clean, disinfect, and sterilize instrumentation. Assist with clean-up and room turnover.
- Supply Management: Maintain unit supplies by requisitioning and receiving supplies then stocking patient rooms and supply areas to meet patient care needs. Inventory control.
- Quality Initiatives: Participate in all safety initiatives. Adhere to programs such as SCIP and SCOAP quality initiatives.
