**Job Title:** Asphalt Quality Control Technician

**About the Role:**

The LPX Group is seeking a skilled Asphalt Quality Control Technician to join our team. As a key member of our construction services department, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and consistency of Hot Mix Asphalt materials used in our projects.

This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. You will work closely with our laboratory team to ensure that all testing and inspection procedures are followed accurately.

**Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular testing and inspections of Hot Mix Asphalt materials to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Collaborate with laboratory staff to analyze test results and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of ASTM/AASHTO standard test methods.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
**Requirements:**
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., chemistry, materials science, or engineering).
  • 2+ years of experience in materials testing and inspection, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures and equipment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks efficiently.
**Compensation and Benefits:**
  • $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
