About the Role

The Medical Assistant is a vital member of our healthcare team, providing exceptional patient care and support in a fast-paced clinical environment. As a Medical Assistant, you will work closely with our providers to deliver high-quality patient care, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for our patients.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Assist providers with patient care and treatment, including rooming and gathering information from patients.
  2. Support providers with minor procedures and contact patients with test results.
  3. Provide administrative support, including answering phones, making appointments, and maintaining accurate records.
  4. Contribute to a calm and supportive atmosphere, promoting a positive experience for patients and families.

Requirements

  1. High school diploma or GED preferred; completion of an accredited vocational institution or community college in Medical Assisting with 160 hours of clinical experience completed, or equivalent experience.
  2. Current AAMA, NHA, AMT, or NCCT certification preferred or achieved within 1 year of eligibility; current BLS certification within 3 months of hire required.
  3. Relevant experience as a Medical Assistant preferred.
