Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Substitute Custodian and Maintenance worker to join our team. As a Substitute Custodian and Maintenance worker, you will be responsible for providing custodial and maintenance services on a day-to-day basis.

Responsibilities
  • Perform custodial and maintenance tasks as needed, including cleaning, repairing, and maintaining school facilities.
  • Operate various equipment and machinery, such as vacuum cleaners, mowers, and snow blowers.
  • Assist with special events and projects as required.
  • Ensure a safe and healthy work environment by following all safety protocols and procedures.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must be able to work at all county-owned locations.
  • Must provide transportation to and from work locations.
  • Must pass a criminal background check.
  • Must be physically and medically capable of performing manual labor tasks.
Working Conditions

This position requires frequent crawling, sitting, stooping, reaching, standing, walking, lifting, pulling, grasping, talking, hearing, seeing, and using repetitive motions. May require mowing, weed eating, painting, snow removal, trash removal, pushing dumpsters, etc.
