Car Painter Job Description at Carmax

Carmax is seeking a skilled Car Painter to join our team. As a Car Painter, you will be responsible for performing paint retouching, post-paint finishing, waxing and buffing to make cars look like new. You will also carry out dent repair, masking, sanding and grinding to ensure sound bodywork.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform paint retouching and post-paint finishing to achieve a showroom finish
  • Carry out dent repair, masking, sanding and grinding to ensure sound bodywork
  • Repair and replace small plastic and other parts to ensure everything about the vehicle is in good working order
