Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Stony Brook Medicine. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the advancement of the nursing profession.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans
- Coordinate nursing care activities with other healthcare disciplines
- Administer medications and practice infection control
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Participate in quality assurance activities and contribute to the advancement of the nursing profession
This position may involve exposure to infectious diseases, blood, and other unpleasant elements. You may be required to work irregular hours and handle emergency situations.
Qualifications- Current licensure to practice as a registered nurse in New York State
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in nursing and at least one year of hospital acute care experience
