Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team at The Medical Office of Dr Charles Skiba Inc. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a healthcare setting and be proficient in medical billing procedures.

The Medical Assistant will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including greeting patients, answering phone calls, creating appointments, and preparing daily intake and visit forms. They will also be responsible for verifying insurance, communicating with pharmacies and other practitioners, and taking detailed phone messages.

In addition to front office duties, the Medical Assistant will also be responsible for back office duties, such as rooming patients, taking vital signs, and performing laboratory draws. They will also assist with procedures, communicate results with patients and other practitioners, and manage inventory of supplies and samples.

The successful candidate will have strong organizational skills, be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and be able to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
