Medtronic is seeking a highly skilled Assembler II to join our team in Billerica. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling high-quality and complex cardiac catheter ablation devices for treating a heart arrhythmia condition called aFib (atrial fibrilation).
Responsibilities- Perform a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations.
- Work from visual aids, method layouts, diagrams, schematics, process flow sheets and written or verbal assembly instructions.
- Set initial layouts, and use a variety of tools to prepare product(s).
- Makes continuity checks on work in process and completed.
- May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications.
- May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.
- Requires minimum of 2 years of experience and may require vocational or technical education or certification in addition to prior work experience.
- Prior experience assembling and/or soldering under a microscope.
- Prior cleanroom experience.
- Well-versed in GMP and GDP.
