Vestis Washroom Operator Job Description

As a Washroom Operator at Vestis, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of laundry equipment. Your duties will include checking machine safety devices, retrieving and maneuvering slings, and verifying batch tickets to avoid mixing lots and batches.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Check all machine safety devices before operating equipment and record the appropriate equipment safety form.
  • Retrieve slings from storage and maneuver them to the washer's rails and in front of the washer when loading the washer.
  • Obtain extracted slings from the overhead feed rail if loading a dryer and verify each batch ticket to avoid mixing lots and batches.
  • Stage similar batches together for maximum product/wash.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with others.
