Key Responsibilities
  • Site Management
    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the construction site, ensuring that all activities are carried out in a safe and efficient manner.
    • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Quality Control
    • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that work is being carried out to the required standards.
    • Identify and report any quality issues or defects to the project manager.
  • Communication
    • Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
    • Provide regular project updates and progress reports to the project manager.
  • Logistics and Scheduling
    • Coordinate the logistics of the construction site, including the movement of materials and equipment.
    • Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring that all deadlines are met.
  • Documentation and Reporting
    • Prepare and submit regular reports on project progress, including site diaries and quality control records.
    • Maintain accurate records of site activities, including labor hours and material usage.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in construction site management, preferably with a general contractor or construction company.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in construction management or related field preferred.
