Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Palliative Care team. As a Palliative Care Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate and high-quality care to patients and their families.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced RN to join our team in Temple, Texas. The successful candidate will have a strong background in nursing and a passion for providing palliative care to patients with serious illnesses.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to patients with serious illnesses
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and spiritual needs
- Develop and implement effective pain and symptom management plans
- Provide education and support to patients and their families
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current and valid nursing license
- BLS certification or obtain within 30 days of starting in this role
- Experience in palliative care or a related field
